How to Support the Forest

The Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest is a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers.

To reduce administrative costs, neighbouring St. John's Anglican Cathedral has kindly offered to process donations on behalf of the Keepers of the Forest at no cost.

Donations can be made through the Cathedral's Canada Helps page, by e-transfer to office@stjohnscathedral.ca or by mail to 135 Anderson Avenue

Winnipeg, Manitoba  R2W 5M9.

Please be sure to indicate your donation is intended for the Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest.

Tax receipts are issued at the end of the year.

Baba's Bannock and Jam Fund

Dr. Lee Anne Block was a driving force behind the Kapabamayak Achaak Healing Forest Winnipeg.
Her family established the Baba's Bannock and Jam Fund in her memory in February 2022.

Lee Anne was a lifelong educator and Jewish mother who loved to see kids eat. She made sure there was always some bannock and jam -- and often whitefish too -- for children to snack on during school visits.

Proceeds from the fund will be earmarked to feed kids and support on site educational programming for schools.

The first disbursement was in September 2022 to feed about 275 students from five schools who visited the Healing Forest ahead of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
